Russel Leroy Fleming Jr., 72, of Hawaiian Arces died Dec. 2, 2015, at home. Born Feb. 15, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, he retired from the Army, Navy and the Air Force National Guard in Hawaii.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Dec. 26 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome. Scattering of ashes will be held at a later date.
He is survived by wife, Phyllis Fleming of Kurtistown; daughter, Roxanne (Francisco) Filoteo of Kurtistown; son, Benjamin (Rena) Fleming of Kailua-Kona; five granddaughters; one grandson; two great-granddaughters and 19 great-grandsons; sisters, Francis McPherson of Xenia, Ohio and Jill (Dawson) Armitage of Belford, Ind.; brothers, Felix Fleming and Kim Fleming, both of Xenia, Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews and aunts.

LindyAnn Aiona, 61, of Keaukaha died Dec. 1, 2015, in Hilo. Born in Koae, Puna, she was a deputy sheriff, paddler for Keaukaha Canoe Club and a member of Tsunami and Game On softball teams.

Gene Soto Tsuhako, 80, of Henderson, Nev., died Nov. 29, 2015, at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, Nev. Born Jan. 8, 1935, in Kainaliu, he was a retired teacher from Konawaena High School, worked for Roberts Hawaii and was an agricultural inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
A celebration of life is planned for 10 a.m. Jan. 9 at the Old Kona Airport Park large pavilion. family requests aloha attire be worn and no flowers.

Robert Emil Dietrich, 87, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 14, 2015, at his residence. Born Feb. 5, 1928, in Cleveland, he was an equipment manager at Fort Hunter Liggett in California, an Army veteran and member of Kona Masonic Lodge, Kona Shriner’s Club and Elks Club.
